- BOLTON VALLEY EVENTS SCHEDULE -
September 02-06, 2010 - Vermont's Largest Ski and Snowboard Sale
More than $1 million worth of name brand skis, boots, snowboards and skiing/riding accessories will be on sale for liquidation prices as part of Vermont's Largest Ski and Snowboard Sale. The sale is being produced in conjunction with The Ski and Snowboard Liquidation Center, a New England company with years of experience producing large scale ski and snowboard sale events. Qualified technicians will be on site for binding mounting and adjustments.
September 03, 2010 - The Labor of Love Rail Jam
Vermont's first ski and snowboard rail jam of the season. Bolton Valley will host the first ski and snowboard rail jam of the season on Friday, September 3rd. The tennis courts next to the Sports Center will be covered with "snow" collected from a local hockey rink, rails will be set up and skiers and riders will be turned loose for about an hour to jam. We'll have some prizes for the best skiers and riders at the end of the jam and some extra prizes to toss to all competitors.
Schedule: (all events at the Sports Center)
5:00 – 5:45pm - Bib pick up and day of registration (based on space available)
6:00-7:00pm - Rail Jam

September 05, 2010 - Labor Day Weekend Farmers Market
Bolton Valley has partnered with the Richmond Farmers Market to bring you a special Sunday edition of the market right here at Bolton Valley. The market will feature more than 20 vendors selling locally grown produce and meat, tasty prepared foods, locally produced crafts, fresh baked goods, flowers and plants. The market will run from 10am-2pm and will be held outside next to the Sports Center, rain or shine. While at the Market enjoy live music from The Fizz from 11:00am to 1:00pm with influences from Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Talking Heads and The Beatles.

September 4 - October 11, 2010 - KILLINGTON HAY FFESTIVAL
A perennial favorite, the Killington Hay Festival begins Labor Day Weekend and runs through Columbus Day, with amazing hay sculptures and great events every weekend.
Animals take shape in the form of huge hay bales artistically sculpted by Killington businesses along with local artists January Myer and Denise Peront on display at more than 30 locations throughout town.
This year, our small town will be helping out in a big way by partnering with the National Audubon Society to benefit wildlife restoration in the Gulf of Mexico.
September 9-12, 2010 - KILLINGTON CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE TOURING RALLY
Enjoy Vermont's Premier Motorcycle Touring Rally as well as a weekend of fun and classic Vermont driving, unmatched tours and scenic roadways.
September 17-19, 2010 - DOCKDOGS WEEKEND
Does your dog have what it takes to beat the national champ in a distance jumping competition? Or maybe you just want to watch animal athletes splash around as they try to set a record.
The Town of Killington is hosting world famous DockDogs dock jumping and dock diving canine performance competitions in a huge pool at the end of a 40-foot dock. In addition, the town will stage events for local dog owners and awareness programs for the Rutland County Human Society.
September 25, 2010 - SEPTEMBERFEST AT PICO MOUNTAIN
Pico Septemberfest celebrates all that is Vermont including local produce, cottage crafts, great beer, live music and terrific deals on winter skiing! Bring the family for a full day of activities set in the backdrop of Pico Mountain.

September 4–5 : 16th Annual Brewers Festival
Our annual tribute to summer and its finest elixir – beer! The Mount Snow Brewers Festival has become famous with great beer, great music, huge crowds, and good times. This year will be no different as we expect to host well over 20 breweries.
All paid 21+ adult entries receive a one of a kind souvenir pint glass and a free beer on Mount Snow. Tokens can be purchased for $2 after that and are good for an 8 oz sample of well over 60 different kinds of brews including stouts, ales, hefeweizens, porters, and for you non-beer lovers cider.
September 11 : Taste of the Deerfield Valley
Taste the best of the best at the 5th annual Taste of the Deerfield Valley slated for Saturday, September 11 from 9am-5pm where more than a dozen restaurants will gather at the base of Mount Snow in West Dover, Vermont. Participants will have the opportunity to taste specialty items from each of the restaurants and vote for their favorite taste. Three-time World BBQ Champion and star of TLC’s BBQ Pitmasters, Myron Mixon, will be joining this year’s event demonstrating his BBQ skills with a private lesson and dinner on Friday night and a BBQ demonstration on Saturday.
September 24–26 : 3rd Annual Vermont Life Wine & Harvest Festival
From gourmet cheese and wine to specialty items crafted by local artisans, come celebrate the rich uniqueness, quality and ingenuity of Vermont producers at the third annual Vermont Life Wine and Harvest Festival in the Mount Snow Valley.

(RAIN OR SHINE - The Show will take place in Grizzly's if it Rains). Twiddle is a true cross over band with a sound that weaves and dodges through genres, coasting with complexities that conjure up Coltrane, Ranglin and Zappa, yet still embraces the roots of jam traditions.

September 18-19, 2010 : Wrench and Ride Women's Bike Camp
Join the women of Sugarbush for two days of great coaching and riding and plenty of good company. Includes breakfast and lunch daily, trail and mechanical instruction, video analysis, lift tickets, zip line ride, and yoga classes. For the beginner to intermediate mt. biker who is looking to learn and improve basic trail and mechanical skills. Learn and ride at your own speed.
September 19, 2010 - Mad Dash 2010
This classic Vermont foot race goes through farm fields, along country roads and the Mad River Greenway. The event includes an 8 mi. and 4 mi. race, a 4 mi. fitness walk and a free kid's fun run. We offer organic foods and refreshments, unique awards and prizes, a commemorative T-shirt and goodie bag. Registration is at 9:00 a.m.
